Physical Therapy
Physical therapy are treatments
where specially designed exercises and equipment help patients restore their
normal physical activities. Physical therapy is advised when health
problems make is painful to move or the pain is interfering with your daily
activities.
Physical therapists are trained professionals
who guide you through different stretching and strengthening activities.
They assess and treat varieties of conditions that affect the physical function of adults and children. They are often able to relieve pain and help to resume daily activities.
Physical therapy may provide relief from long term health problems. Physical therapist may use exercise program, manual therapy, education and other techniques such as heat, ice, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to provide rehabilitation. They evaluate and diagnose movement dysfunction and treat patients accordingly. Interventions may include therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy techniques, assistive and adaptive devices, equipments, physical agents, and electrotherapeutic modalities.

To Make An Appointment
- Obtain a written prescription for OT or PT from your physician (prescriptions are valid for 30 days from the date on the prescription)
- Medicare patients must be referred by an OrthopaediCare physician. Please call us for specific instructions
- Call (215) 657-1115 for an appointment in Willow Grove or (267) 495-2515 for an appointment in Chalfont. We will verify your insurance coverage. Some insurances do limit where you may receive physical and occupational therapy
