DePuy Orthopaedics ASR™ Hip System Recall Information
The DePuy recall involves very few hip replacements. The particular implant involved in the recall has been used only in unique or unusual circumstances.
Standard hip implants/replacements, which are made of plastic, metal or ceramic were not involved in this recall. The recall is only for one implant, which is NOT the standard hip replacement.
